Process
The window represents a passage to the past, a medium to look back at those who inspired us to begin this journey. It’s about perspective and staying true to our purpose of creating outstanding bourbon to be enjoyed in good company.
The barrel represents the very heart of our bourbon making philosophy, a focus on high-quality oak aging. The visual manifestation of our dedication to wood and our respect for the maturation process. We use only the finest oak casks to mature our spirit resulting in a complex layering of color, aroma, and flavor.
The hourglass represents time. It takes time to make great whiskey. Time for the fermentation to complete, time in barrel for the flavor to develop, time in finishing casks to add that extra layer of complexity. Time for the whiskey to rest before being decanted into the bottle where it all comes together.
The flower represents passion. Our passion and absolute dedication to the art of fine whiskey making. We honor those who came before us while adding a new chapter to the story of American whiskey. We hope that you taste our passion in every bottle of Specter.
